THE INVASION
IS SPREADING.
Invasive Fish Removal is a veteran-powered mission fighting the silent invasion destroying America's lakes and rivers.
Your membership helps save lives and lakes.

FINDING PURPOSE.
RESTORING WATERS.
It's more than removing invasive fish. It's about getting veterans back on the water instead of lying awake fighting battles no one else can see.
For many veterans, the hardest fight starts after they come home — the mission's over, and too many are left searching for purpose. Meanwhile, invasive fish are destroying the waters generations of Americans grew up on.
We're solving both.
Every fish removed restores our lakes and rivers. Every veteran who steps onto our boats joins a mission with real purpose, real impact, and a team that has their back.
Your membership doesn't just fund a day on the water — it restores lives, restores ecosystems, and proves one mission can change both.
UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM
THE INVASIVE SPECIES
Introduced by accident, they are spreading rapidly and displacing native species in their path.

SILVER CARP
Hypophthalmichthys molitrix

BIGHEAD CARP
Hypophthalmichthys nobilis

GRASS CARP
Ctenopharyngodon idella
Silver Carp were introduced to U.S. waters in the 1970s to clean fish farm ponds. They escaped into open waterways — and have never stopped spreading.

Real stories from the heroes who have joined our missions.
"Man, I haven't had this much fun in years. Flying across the water at night, shooting fish, just hanging out with people who get it... it's a blast. Definitely something I look forward to doing again."
Sgt. Mike R.
US Marine Corps
"I honestly didn't know what to expect, but this was wild. It's fast-paced, exciting, and just an awesome way to blow off some steam. Plus, knowing we're actually helping the lakes makes it even cooler."
Specialist Sarah T.
US Army
"Such a great time out on the boat. It gets your adrenaline pumping, but at the same time, it's just relaxing being out there with other vets. It's the highlight of my month for sure."
PO2 James L.
US Navy
"If you want action, this is it. Bowfishing at night is crazy fun, and the crew is top-notch. It's not just a fishing trip, it's an absolute riot and something I really look forward to."

THE COST OF INACTION — IT'S ALREADY BEGINNING
WHAT HAPPENS
IF WE DO NOTHING
THE FOOD WEB COLLAPSES
Silver and Bighead Carp consume the plankton that every other species depends on. Remove the plankton — you remove the food source for every fish, bird, turtle, and mammal in that ecosystem. What's left is dead water.
SOURCE: U.S. FISH & WILDLIFE SERVICENATIVE SPECIES DISAPPEAR — LOCALLY
Paddlefish. Bluegill. Bass. Catfish. Buffalo fish. These species evolved over millions of years in these waterways. They cannot compete with an invasive species that eats everything and spawns millions of eggs. Without intervention, regional extinction is not a prediction — it is an outcome already underway.
SOURCE: ILLINOIS NATURAL HISTORY SURVEYTHE GREAT LAKES ARE AT RISK
If Silver Carp breach into Lake Michigan, scientists project near-total disruption of the $7 billion Great Lakes fishing industry within a generation. The economic and ecological devastation would be irreversible.
SOURCE: NOAA / GLERIOUR WATERS BECOME UNUSABLE
Dense carp populations make recreational boating dangerous, water sports impossible, and lake tourism dead. Communities built around waterways lose their identity, their tourism income, and their quality of life.

THE FIGHT IS WORKING
WE'RE TURNING THE TIDE
One fish at a time. One lake and river at a time.
THIS YEAR: 1,000+ INVASIVE FISH REMOVED
REMOVING ONE FISH ISN'T JUST REMOVING ONE FISH.
Here's what our 1,000 fish removed actually means:
- —
Up to 5 BILLION fewer eggs that won't be laid this season
- —
Plankton populations begin recovering within weeks of removal
- —
Native fish — Paddlefish, Bluegill, Bass — start reclaiming their food sources immediately
- —
Water clarity improves as filter-feeding pressure drops
- —
Safer waterways for boaters and recreators
- —
Birds, otters, turtles, and amphibians return as the food web repairs itself
Every invasive fish we remove creates a ripple effect of recovery that benefits every living thing in that ecosystem.

DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT
The world's leading scientists and agencies agree: this invasion is real, urgent, and stoppable.

WHY WE STARTED THIS FIGHT
We grew up on these lakes and rivers.
Our father served in the Navy. Founder Daniel Witter served as a Marine in Iraq. That sense of duty — to country, to community, to the water — runs in our blood. Invasive Fish Removal is our way of honoring it.

FOUNDED BY
THE WITTER BROTHERS
Some of our best memories were made on the water — fishing, swimming, watching the sunrise with family. Our father served in the United States Navy, and founder Daniel Witter served as a Marine during the war in Iraq. That love for the water, and that sense of duty, passed straight down through all of us.
Over the years, we began noticing changes that most people never see. Native fish became harder to find. Silver Carp kept spreading. The damage isn't always obvious above the surface — but it's happening below it, and it's accelerating.
We started Invasive Fish Removal because we believe these waters are worth fighting for. We care about and support our Vets. Instead of just talking about it, we invite them out and bring them on these missions for free—covering the cost of bowfishing charters that typically run around $1,500 per night. This may seem small to some, but it's our way of giving back.
We support our veterans. We remove invasive fish.
Two missions. One family. One fight.
